Escape the ordinary – come home to wild Africa
If you're scrolling through holiday options from Europe or the USA, let us convince you to look south. East Africa offers something no other continent can: the raw rhythm of the wild, cultures that welcome you as family, and landscapes that shift from snow-capped mountains to golden savannah in a single day. And at Kyobe Safaris, we've been crafting these journeys since 2019 — with a local heartbeat.
Unforgettable wildlife encounters
Track endangered mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest — a experience that tops many bucket lists. Then shift to the savannah for lions, leopards, and the spectacular wildebeest migration. Uganda alone is home to over 1,100 bird species and the famous tree-climbing lions of Ishasha. Every day brings a new wonder.
Travel with purpose — beyond the game drive
When you travel with Kyobe Safaris, you’re not just observing wildlife — you’re supporting communities. Every safari contributes to the Muninguzo Foundation, which helps vulnerable children return to school. You can meet them, visit their classrooms, and see exactly where your travel dollars go. It’s tourism that gives back, without feeling like charity.
🌍 Make your safari truly meaningful
Add a community visit to meet the children and teachers supported by your trip. Or donate directly to fund a child’s education for an entire year.
✶ A portion of every safari booking directly supports school fees, meals, and uniforms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is East Africa safe for tourists from Europe/USA?
Absolutely. Safari circuits are well established, and Kyobe Safaris provides experienced local guides who know the terrain and communities. We prioritise your safety while ensuring an authentic experience.
When is the best time to visit?
The classic dry seasons (June–October and December–February) offer prime wildlife viewing. But the green season (March–May) brings lush scenery, fewer crowds, and lower rates — magical for birders.
Can I really combine gorilla trekking with a community visit?
Yes — many travellers do exactly that. We’ll arrange a day to visit a school supported by Muninguzo Foundation, usually near Bwindi or Queen Elizabeth. It’s an add‑on that takes half a day.
What if I want to donate school supplies instead of money?
We encourage it! Backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and sports gear are always needed. Let us know before you travel, and we’ll coordinate with the school.
