Our Foundation

Mungu Ninguzo Foundation is a voluntary organization aiming at empowering underserved communities. "Mungu Ninguzo" is a Swahili word meaning "God is the Pillar."

Travel and tourism directly or indirectly affect communities. With the realization that if communities become more sustainable, tourism thrives better, we founded Mungu Ninguzo Foundation with the aim of uplifting communities.

We are a group of change agents with the urge to ensure that the marginalized are considered through gender equality, holistic health services, sustainable agriculture, and vocational training fostering resilience and economic growth.

Our Tourism-Community Philosophy

As part of Kyobe Safaris, we recognize that travel directly impacts local communities. Our foundation bridges tourism with community development, ensuring that:

  • Tourism revenue supports community projects
  • Local communities benefit directly from conservation
  • Cultural heritage is preserved alongside natural heritage
  • Visitors contribute to sustainable community development

Our Core Belief

At our core, we focus on pursuing projects that represent sustainability of communities in terms of environmental and social aspects. We firmly believe that our cause will ensure sustainability and inspire a new generation of change makers.

David's Farm: Sustainable Agriculture Success

"With the foundation's training in sustainable farming, I transformed my struggling half-acre plot into a productive organic farm. I now grow enough to feed my family and sell surplus at the market. I've even started training other farmers in my village."
