Kibale has the highest chimp density in Uganda and sightings are very reliable. On rare low-activity days your permit may be extended or rescheduled.
Chimps move fast and are very vocal — it's a more dynamic, chase-style experience. Gorilla trekking is calmer and more intimate. Many visitors do both.
