The Batwa community walk on day 3 was one of the most profound experiences of the trip — I'd recommend adding it to anyone's itinerary.

Lake Mburo was a genuine surprise — zebras right at the lakeshore! A perfect end to the trip before heading home.

Unlike standard trekking (1 hour), habituation allows 4 hours with a gorilla family still being trained to accept human presence. A more intensive and intimate experience — costs extra.
Not the traditional Big Five. But Mburo has zebra, hippo, buffalo, leopard, topi and over 350 bird species. It's excellent for walking safaris.
From Bwindi it's possible to arrange a day trip or overnight across to DRC for a double-gorilla experience. This requires advance visa arrangements — contact us.
